Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana was started by the Madhya Pradesh State Government on 5 March 2023, under the Ladli Behna Yojana, beneficiary women are given Rs 1250 every month under the Social Security Pension Scheme, the main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the women of the state every month so that they can easily maintain themselves.

Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana was started by former Chief Minister of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan, under which currently eligible 1 crore 29 lakh women are given Rs 1250 per month.

What is Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana?

Through MP ladli behna yojana, the foundation of a better future is being laid by the Madhya Pradesh government by empowering and making women self-reliant by giving financial help to the women of the state.

According to the National Family Health Survey, 23.0 percent of women have lower than the standard body mass index and the level of anemia in women aged 15 to 49 years is reflected as 54.7 percent. To bring about a change in the lives of women and to reduce these figures rapidly, the MP Ladli Behna Yojana has been started.

Ladli Behna Yojana Eligibility 2024

• The applicant woman should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The age of the woman should be between 21 to 60 years (women who have completed 23 years as on 1 January of the calendar year can apply).
• All married, widowed, divorced, abandoned women can take advantage of this scheme.
• No person in the woman’s family should be a tax payer.
• No person in the family should be a pension holder.
• The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh.
• Family means husband, wife and children dependent on them.
