      • Day Scholars: ₹350/month
    • Group B: For graduate/postgraduate courses (e.g., LLB, Pharmacy, Hotel Management).
      • Hostellers: ₹510/month
      • Day Scholars: ₹335/month
    • Group C: For general graduate courses (e.g., BA, B.Sc., B.Com).
      • Hostellers: ₹400/month
      • Day Scholars: ₹210/month
    • Group D: For non-degree courses like ITI and diplomas.
      • Hostellers: ₹260/month
      • Day Scholars: ₹160/month
  2. Reader Charges for Blind Students:
    Additional monthly allowance for visually impaired students.

    • Group A & B: ₹175/month
    • Group C: ₹130/month
    • Group D: ₹90/month
  3. Reimbursement of Fees:
    Covers non-refundable fees for tuition, registration, medical exams, and more.
  4. Study Tour Charges:
    Up to ₹900 annually for students in professional/technical courses.
  5. Thesis Typing/Printing Charges:
    Research scholars can claim up to ₹1,000 for thesis-related expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Open to Indian nationals belonging to the General Category (excluding SC/ST/OBC).
  2. Available for recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in government institutions.
  3. The annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed ₹1,00,000.
  4. Scholarships are limited to two boys per family, with no restrictions for girls.
  5. Students pursuing correspondence courses or those receiving free lodging/grants can also apply under specific conditions.

Exclusions

  1. Aviation-related courses and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) programs are excluded.
  2. Students pursuing the same stage of education in a different subject are not eligible.

Application Process

  1. Online Registration:
    • Visit the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in).
    • Complete the registration, receive an Application ID, and log in.
    • Fill out the application form and upload required documents.
  2. Required Documents:
    • Application form.
    • Passport-size photograph.
    • Attested copies of academic certificates.
    • Income certificate issued by a Tehsildar or higher authority.
    • Receipt of the previous year’s scholarship (if applicable).

Duration and Renewal

Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the course, subject to good conduct and academic performance. Renewal is based on annual promotion to the next academic year.

Mode of Disbursal

Scholarship payments are made directly to beneficiaries via their bank accounts, ensuring transparency and timeliness.
