Financial Assistance to WW II Veterans & Widows of WW II Veterans :
The Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department of the Government of Haryana has launched this scheme to offer financial assistance to World War II veterans and their widows who need support. A generous monthly assistance of ₹10,000 is provided to ex-servicemen enrolled before 31st August 1945 and their widows who meet the eligibility criteria. This initiative aims to support those who served our nation during a pivotal time.

- Monthly financial assistance of ₹10,000 for WW II veterans & their widows
- No arrears paid prior to the sanction month
- Assistance is not given if the beneficiary receives any other pension/financial aid from the government
🎯 Eligibility:
- Haryana resident
- World War II Veterans (enlisted before 31st August 1945) or their widows
- Annual family income must be below ₹2,00,000 from all sources
- The applicant must not be receiving any pension/financial assistance from the government
- Widows must submit a non-remarriage certificate and death certificate of their spouse

- Visit the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal and register as a new user by providing details like Name, Email, Mobile, etc.
- Login to your account and search for “Financial Assistance to WW II Veterans” under available services
- Fill the application form and upload required documents
- Preview and submit the application
- Track your application status through the portal for updates
📋 Documents Required:
- Ex-serviceman/Widow Identity Card
- Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID)
- Aadhaar Card
- Discharge Book (For ex-servicemen)
- Death Certificate (For widows)
- Non-Employment & Non-Remarriage Certificates (For widows)
- Income Certificate verified by Tehsildar
- NOC from District Social Welfare
- Bank details linked with Aadhaar
- Other relevant documents (as required)
⚠️ Important Notes:
- Financial assistance will be stopped if the beneficiary receives old age pension or any other government assistance after sanction
- Beneficiaries must submit an annual survival verification to continue receiving assistance
