Ganga Swarupa Pension Scheme –
The Ganga Swarupa Pension Scheme launched by the Women and Child Development Department of Gujarat is dedicated to empowering widowed women by providing them with financial support. The aim is to ensure self-reliance and dignity for widows, so they can live a life of independence and respect.
Under this scheme, eligible widowed women receive a monthly pension directly deposited into their Post Office accounts, helping them meet their daily needs. It’s managed by the Women and Child Development Office and implemented at the district level by the Mamlatdar.

Eligibility ✅

- Income: The annual income should not exceed ₹1,20,000 in rural areas and ₹1,50,000 in urban areas.
How to Apply :
The application process is offline. Here’s how you can apply:
- Obtain the application form from your Taluka Mamlatdar’s office.
- Fill out the form with accurate details and attach the required documents.
- Submit the form to the Taluka Mamlatdar.
- The Mamlatdar will verify the details and approve the assistance if all criteria are met.
