What is Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana 2024?

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the launch of Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana in August 2023. Under this scheme, 25 indigenous advanced breed cows will be made available to the farmers and cattle rearers of the state to open a dairy. Under this scheme, the cost of setting up a unit of 25 milch cows has been estimated at Rs 62,50,000/-. In such a situation, the Yogi government will give a grant of 50% of the total expenditure i.e. maximum Rs 31,25,000/- to the beneficiary.

Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana 2023 has been announced by the Uttar Pradesh government under the Nand Baba Milk Mission to increase the income of the farmers of the state, make them self-reliant and increase their inclination towards indigenous breed cows. Along with this, Progressive Animal Husbandry Incentive Scheme and Chief Minister Swadeshi Gau-Samvardhan Yojana will also be started under Nand Baba Milk Mission. Through Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana or Nandani Krishak Bima Yojana, the income of farmers will be increased by providing 25 cows of indigenous breed like Sahiwal from Punjab, Tharparak from Rajasthan and Gir from Gujarat to accelerate milk production in the state. Farmers who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh will be provided micro loans and good breeds of cows from the cooperative society under this scheme. The cattle rearer will be given a good rate of milk.   • The applicant should be a native of Uttar Pradesh state.

  • Only registered farmers of Uttar Pradesh will be given its benefit.
  • The beneficiary should have at least 3 years of experience in cow rearing.
  • Ear tagging of cattle is mandatory.
  • It is necessary to have 0.5 acres of land to set up the unit.
  • The beneficiary should have 1.5 acres of land for animal fodder.
  • The land can be his own (ancestral) or he may have taken it on lease for 7 years.
  • The beneficiaries of the previously operated Kamdhenu, Mini Kamdhenu and Micro Kamdhenu scheme will not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.

How to Apply in Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana / How To Apply

Information about online application has not come yet, but offline applications have started for this scheme. Application forms for this scheme will be submitted in the office of Chief Veterinary Officer or Chief Development Officer by 27 September. Beneficiaries will be selected on 30 September and the documents of the selected beneficiaries will be verified by 20 October. If the number of applications is high, the selection will be done by e-lottery by the committee headed by the Chief Development Officer.
