Eligibility Criteria ✅:

- Education: The girl must have completed at least 10th standard or equivalent.
- Marital Status: The girl must be unmarried at the time of application.
- Residence: The girl must be a resident of West Bengal for at least 5 years, or born in the state.
- Bank Account: The girl must have an active bank account.
- Number of Daughters: The scheme applies to one or two daughters of a family.
Exclusions :
- Income above ₹1.5 lakhs: Families with a higher annual income are not eligible.
- More than two daughters: Only families with one or two daughters can apply.
- Marriages outside West Bengal: The scheme applies only for marriages within West Bengal.
- Non-Compliance with Education: The girl must have completed at least 10th standard to be eligible.
How to Apply :
- Step 1: Collect necessary documents like birth certificate, identity proof, income certificate, and marriage invitation.
- Step 2: Get the application form from:
- BDO office (for rural areas)
- SDO office (for municipalities)
- KMC Commissioner’s office (for urban areas)
- Step 3: Fill out the form, attach documents, and submit it to the concerned office.
- Step 4: The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary family.
