The Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra Scholarship Scheme is an initiative by the Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh, designed to support meritorious students from Himachal Pradesh who are studying at Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra. This merit-cum-means based scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students pursuing their education at this prestigious school, enhancing their career opportunities in the defense sector.

Benefits :

Students under this scheme will receive various allowances and benefits to support their education and living expenses at Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra:

• Scholarship Amount: ₹18,000/- per annum
• Dietary Money: ₹10/- per day for 295 days
• Clothing Allowance:
  • ₹1,500/- per annum for the first year
  • ₹750/- per annum for subsequent years

Eligibility Criteria ✅

To be eligible for the Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra Scholarship Scheme, the applicant must meet the following requirements:

• The student must be a bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• The student must be enrolled at Sainik School Sujanpur Tihra, from Class VI to XII.
• The student must have joined the Sainik School based on the competitive entrance examination conducted every year.
• The scholarship will continue throughout the student’s time at the school, provided the student maintains satisfactory progress and discipline.

Conditions for Renewal of Scholarship :

The scholarship will be renewed each year provided the following conditions are met:

• The student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
• The student is not reported for disciplinary issues.
• The student does not receive any other financial assistance or scholarship from a different source.
• If a student fails a class, the scholarship will be suspended for that particular year.

Important Note: Once awarded, the scholarship will remain the same for the entire duration of the course, regardless of any changes in the family income.

Application Process 📝

Online Application Process:
1️⃣ New Registration: Students applying for the scholarship for the first time must register on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) by providing accurate details as per official documents.
2️⃣ Student Registration ID: After successful registration, students will receive a Student Registration ID.
3️⃣ Login: Use the Student Registration ID to log in and access the “Fresh Application” section.
4️⃣ Fill the Application: Complete the application form and click “Final Submit” to submit the application.
5️⃣ Confirmation: Once the application is successfully submitted, students will receive a system-generated registration number for future reference.
6️⃣ Print & Submit: Students must print the completed online application form and submit it along with the required documents to the Head of the Institute.
7️⃣ The Head of the Institute will verify the application and forward it to the Directorate for online verification and safekeeping.

2️⃣ Aadhaar Card Copy
3️⃣ Bonafide Himachali Certificate (Proof of residency in Himachal Pradesh)
4️⃣ Marks Certificate for previous years
5️⃣ First page of Bank Passbook
6️⃣ School Bonafide Certificate signed by the Principal
7️⃣ Income Certificate of Parent/Guardian (Issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar)
8️⃣ Email & Mobile Number of Parent/Guardian

Important Notes 📝

• Scholarship Continuation: The scholarship will be renewed each year based on the student’s progress and conduct.
• No Offline Applications: Offline applications will not be accepted. Students should ensure they apply online and submit the printed copy to the institution.
• Verification: The Head of the Institute must verify all documents and forward the application to the Directorate.
