- Disability Certificate: The applicant must produce a disability certificate issued by a competent authority to prove their disability.
- Membership Duration: The applicant must have been a member of the Board for at least 6 months before they can avail the benefits of the scheme.
- One-time Benefit: The tri-cycle is provided only once in a lifetime.
Application Process:
Registration Process for Chandigarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (CBOCWWB):
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the Labour Department, Chandigarh at labour.chd.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on ‘Click Here for Registration’ on the homepage. A registration page will open. Fill in all the required details and submit.
- Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your registered email and mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete the registration. Note down your User ID and Password for future use.
- Step 4: After registration, go to the Login page, enter your Login ID and Password, and click Login.
- Step 5: Once logged in, click on ‘Apply for Services’ and search for ‘BOCW Application for Registration as a New Member/Renewal’.
- Step 6: Download the CBOCW form, fill in the required information, and upload it.
- Step 7: Attach all mandatory annexures and save them.
- Step 8: Complete the payment process and proceed.
- Step 9: An acknowledgment receipt will be generated.
Application Process for the Tri-Cycle Scheme:
- Step 1: Visit the Labour Department Chandigarh website again at labour.chd.gov.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, select ‘SUPPLY OF TRI-CYCLES’ under the Grant of Welfare Schemes section.
- Step 3: Read the scheme details and click on ‘Click here to Apply/Register’ at the bottom of the page. (You can also read the user manual here.)
- Step 4: If you are not registered, click on ‘Register Yourself’. A ServicePlus window will open; fill in all details to complete the registration.
- Step 5: After registration, log in using your ServicePlus credentials (User ID & Password).
- Step 6: Once logged in, you will be directed to the online application page. Select the ‘Tri-Cycle for Disabled’ scheme and fill in the required details such as personal information and workplace details.
- Step 7: Click on ‘Self-Declaration’ and enter any additional details required.
- Step 8: Enter the verification code (Captcha) and click Submit.
- Step 9: Review all entered details and click on ‘Attach Annexure’.
- Step 10: Upload all the necessary documents and click ‘Save Annexure’.
- Step 11: Once everything is confirmed, click Submit.
- Step 12: Take a printout of the Acknowledgment Receipt for future reference.
Tracking Application Status:
- To track your application status, log in to the Labour Department website using your User ID and Password.
- Click on ‘Track Application Status’, fill in the required details, and click ‘Get Data’ to view the status.

- Copy of Aadhaar Card of the applicant
- BOCW Card (if available)
