Vivah Sahayata Yojana

The Vivah Sahayata Yojana, launched by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand, is a 100% state-sponsored initiative designed to provide financial assistance to registered construction workers in the state. The scheme offers ₹30,000/- (Thirty Thousand Rupees Only) as financial aid for the marriage of up to two children or female members of the family.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail of the benefits of the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Resident of Jharkhand: The applicant must be a domicile of Jharkhand.
2. Registered Worker: The applicant must be a registered construction worker with the Jharkhand Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (JBOCWWB).
3. Age Criteria:
   • The applicant should be between 18 to 60 years of age.
   • The bride should be at least 18 years of age.
   • The groom should be at least 21 years of age.
4. Contribution History: The worker should have made continuous contributions to the welfare fund for five years.
5. Family Eligibility: The scheme is applicable for up to two children or female members of the family.

Application Process

The Vivah Sahayata Yojana application process is simple and can be completed online through the official Jharkhand Labour Department website.

Steps for Registration:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Comprehensive Labour Management System on the Jharkhand Labour Department website.
2. Click on “Login”: On the top right corner of the homepage, click on “Login” and select “Register Here”.
3. Fill in the Registration Form: Enter your details such as First Name, Last Name, Email, and Mobile Number, then create your Username and Password. You’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your mobile and email to verify your account.
4. Complete Registration: Once verified, your login credentials will be sent to your registered email and mobile.

Steps for Application:

1. Login to the Portal: Use the login credentials to access the portal and click on “Services” > “BOC Scheme Benefit” > “Application Form”.
2. Fill in the Application Form: Enter your personal details and scheme information as requested in the form. Select the Vivah Sahayata Yojana under the Select Scheme section.
3. Upload Documents: Upload the necessary documents such as the Aadhaar Card, proof of registration, and other required certificates.
4. Submit the Application: After filling in all the details and uploading the documents, click on “Submit Request”. A confirmation page with your Application ID will appear, which will also be sent to your registered email.

Check Application Status:

1. Track Application Progress: After submission, your application goes through a 3-level approval process: Clerk, Labour Superintendent, and DLC.
2. Check Status: To check the status of your application, go to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Status. Enter your Application ID and click “Search” to view the current status.
3. Approval Confirmation: Once the application is approved by the DLC, the status will change to “Approved”. You can then print the page and submit it to the Labour Office to avail of the scheme benefits.

Documents Required

To complete the application process, the following documents are required:

• Aadhaar Card of the applicant (registered worker), bride, and groom.
• Residential Certificate / Domicile Certificate to prove Jharkhand residency.
• Proof of Identity (such as Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.).
• eSHRAM Card of the registered worker.
• Passport-sized Photograph of the applicant.
• Proof of Registration as a construction worker.
• Bank Account Details of the registered worker for direct benefit transfer.
• Income Certificate of the registered worker.
• Marriage Certificate for verification of the marriage.
• Proof of Age of both the bride and groom.
