Eligibility

Nationality

A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or certain East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical are also accepted.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India. Clerical experience, and experience of less than 6 months in a single organisation, will not be counted (unless it forms part of current employment). Candidates must submit a valid Experience Certificate/Job Profile; if the profile does not substantially match Scale-I Officer responsibilities, the application may be rejected.

What is the Age Limit for BOB LBO Recruitment 2026?

Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 1 August 2026 (i.e., born not earlier than 2 August 1996 and not later than 1 August 2005).

What Is the Selection Process for BOB LBO Recruitment 2026?

What Is the Salary for BOB Local Bank Officer?

Selected candidates will draw pay under the JMGS-I scale: β‚Ή48,480 – 2000(7) – 62,480 – 2340(2) – 67,160 – 2680(7) – 85,920, with the starting basic pay at β‚Ή48,480.
